The MV2 Camera Series

High-performance sensor platform for high-resolution, high-speed inspections

The MV2 camera series is based on a rugged housing platform designed specifically for demanding machine vision tasks. It is equipped with a wide range of global-shutter CMOS sensors (UV/HS). Using hardware-based algorithms running directly on the integrated FPGA, the MV2 platform processes image data in real time, permanently reducing the load on downstream host systems in industrial quality control.

Global Shutter Technology

Minimal motion blur when capturing extremely fast motion sequences using short exposure times in the microsecond range for precise measurement applications.

Hardware Image Optimization

Direct image correction on the camera using two look-up tables (Region-LUT) to optimize image quality for the specific application without placing a load on the CPU.

Multi-Region-of-Interest

Simultaneous reading of up to 8 freely definable image regions of interest (MROI) to reduce the amount of data and dramatically increase the frame rate.

Real-Time Triggering

Minimal trigger jitter and precise encoder synchronization (encoder interfaces) for seamless integration into automated production lines.
