Visible quality: aesthetic inspection in food production
Automated inspection systems monitor the shape, color, and quality of food products during production. This allows for the rapid detection of changes and deviations, ensuring the quality of the goods before they are sold or processed further. Quality and aesthetics also play a major role in cork production. That is why 3Control Industrial Automation relies on Photonfocus embedded vision systems for integration into its equipment. These systems are used for quality monitoring in cork production throughout Europe. The 3D sensors analyze the color and shape of the cork blanks, as well as pore size and damage. Depending on their quality, the blanks are then sorted into up to six quality grades. The systems inspect up to 25,000 cork blanks per hour.

Photonfocus embedded vision systems deliver the highest image quality and speed. They feature a modular design and can also process data locally and onboard. This makes them ideal for integration into production lines or as standalone all-in-one solutions.
