High-end line-scan camera platform for continuous high-speed inspections

The MV8 camera series is designed as a specialized platform for industrial high-speed line-scan applications with extremely high data throughput. The series is optimized for the seamless capture of continuous web material. Through the integration of ultra-fast transmission interfaces and built-in pixel preprocessing, the MV8 platform processes massive data streams in real time immediately before transmission to the host.

High-speed line scan

Support for extremely high line rates (up to 400,000 lps) for distortion-free and seamless capture of fast continuous and conveyor processes.

Multi-channel CXP-12

CoaXPress interface with up to 4 channels for maximum bandwidth, as well as an integrated power supply via the data cable using Power over CXP (PoCXP).

Pixel preprocessing

Hardware-based algorithms directly on the camera: Supports dynamic offset correction, binning, line merging, and fixed-pattern noise correction.

Encoder interface

Integrated, galvanically isolated I/O structures with a dedicated encoder interface (interface standards: TTL, RS422, HTL, dHTL) for precise, position-dependent line control
