Quick Results for “In” and “Out” Decisions
In-and-out decisions place the highest demands on technology: When multiple cameras are used and spread out over large areas, the data must be transmitted to a central processing unit in the shortest possible time. Only then can referees receive the decisions in a matter of seconds, ensuring the shortest possible interruptions to the flow of the game and transparent, fair rulings.
Photonfocus imaging systems are designed specifically for these applications.

Real-time data analysis can be performed onboard; alternatively, compressed image data can be transmitted to a computer using the Quad-Rate (QR) and Double-Rate (DR) technology —via a 10 GigE interface, but at up to four times the speed of conventional cameras. Thanks to their modular design, the sensors can be integrated into numerous applications or used as standalone, ready-to-use solutions.
